This article explains the daily self-care and regular maintenance required to achieve a beautiful and healthy smile.<\/p>\n<h2>Common Oral Problems During Orthodontic Treatment<\/h2>\n<p>Particularly with braces using wires and brackets, the complex shape of the appliances makes it easy for food debris and plaque to remain.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development and progression of cavities<\/li>\n<li>Gingivitis and periodontal disease<\/li>\n<li>Oral odor (bad breath)<\/li>\n<li>Surface staining of the teeth<\/li>\n<li>Accumulation of debris around orthodontic appliances<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Three Key Points for Daily Self-Care<\/h2>\n<h3>1.
